About

As a licensed educator with over 18 years of both classroom and online teaching experience, I enjoy helping students shine and become their best in core elementary skills.  My sessions are perfect for students who are homeschooled, students in need of support or extension opportunities, or who would like a new challenge!  I offer direct instruction and learning opportunities for students who are at, slightly below, below, or above grade level.  I offer tailored professional tutoring services year-round in the following K-6th grade areas of study:  

mathematics

handwriting and proper letter formation

phonics

 reading strategies and decoding

fluency

 reading comprehension

 grammar

 vocabulary development

  writing skills 

Elementary science reading and inquiry

Elementary Social Studies: U.S. History, citizenship, Geography, and map skills

As a certified ESL teacher, I also provide instruction for both children and adults in learning English as a second language both nationally and internationally.

Mission

Learning is a lifelong journey, and students of all ages can continue to improve their skills with consistent, intentional 1:1 or small-group instruction.  Using high-quality resources, students can engage with the teacher and learning process online using multiple tools.  

Vision

Each child is a unique gift and can learn at a pace that is appropriate and tailored specifically to the needs of the child.  Individualized instruction and small group learning can help your student grow, learn and apply information in an online environment that caters to individual needs.  Your success is our success!

Let me help you or your student learn!  I offer tutoring services online during afterschool and evening hours from 3:00 p.m.-10:00 p.m. EST.  Core academics are often best when delivered in a 1:1 or small group setting online via zoom or google meet.  Debate and public speaking skills are often best delivered in a small group setting where skills are acquired and then applied within the group.  Rate: $25 per 30 min. session and $45 per 60 min. session. The first session is free! I hope to help your child learn and grow in confidence! Please reach out to me by email, and we can set up a tutoring plan that is perfect for you or your child!

“This is all thanks to you. We had  R at an Elite private preschool whose selling point is that kids read fluently by the time they leave the program to enter kindergarten. Then she transferred to a college preparatory school that has some of the highest reading and math scores in the state.

 

We even got the curricula these schools were using and worked on reading at home.

 

Even then, she was still struggling, and it felt like nothing we were doing was helping her make progress.

 

Then she started meeting with you. She went from struggling to read a page to finishing a grade-level book more efficiently.
